This Enduramaxx AB Air Gap, CAT 5, or Break Tank is constructed from WRAS-approved black polymer as standard, making it suitable for both potable and non-potable water systems. Many water authorities require that tanks connected to the mains supply include an air gap to prevent backflow contamination. The air gap design prevents submersion of the inlet and stops tank water from contaminating the mains supply.
Regulatory Compliance
This tank setup adheres to the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 in England and Wales, as well as the Scottish Water Byelaws 2004.

Inlet Valves
All inlet valves are WRAS-approved, drop-arm type valves designed to fit within the air gap weir. Each valve includes a ballcock and float and is supplied loose for easy installation.
