The Enduramaxx AB Air Gap CAT 5 Break Tank is made from WRAS-approved black polymer, making it suitable for both potable and non-potable water installations. Many water companies require an air gap to protect mains water from contamination due to backflow. The air gap ensures the tank inlet does not become submerged, preventing water in the tank from contaminating the mains supply. This tank complies with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 in England and Wales, as well as the Scottish Water Byelaws 2004.
